(And if it works for you, that’s OK. I’m not a purist. You should do what works for you. Whatever works is awesome in my opinion).

But, in my view, it isn’t the best technique, because when you distract yourself, you’re taking attention AWAY from your arousal.

Instead, for the best long-term results, you should really be doing the OPPOSITE. You should be focusing ON your arousal. And as always, remember to breathe deeply to stay calm and relaxed.

In addition to arousal control and deep breathing, you also need to focus on HER. That change in focus, away from you (and how long you’re lasting), will help relieve performance anxiety. Plus, she’ll love that you’re being more attentive. Try it tonight!
